In 2003, we were approached by the Sheridan Bicentennial Committee with a request to use the park for the celebration of our towns 200th anniversary in 2004.  We have devoted ourselves to enlarge the lower parking area, provide handicap accessible bathrooms and improve the buildings appearance in preparation for the many functions they have planned.
